I started cooking for my family 15 years ago. It
started with Thanksgiving Dinner, then Christmas Dinners, then
week-ends, etc. Well, my family and friends seemed to like what I
was doing so I decided to expand my kitchen into my own restaurant.
I decided to open a small Detroit Barbeque Ribs and Comfort Food
place. We promise to serve-up nothing but the best Comfort Foods
(Soul Food) and slow cooked Detroit Barbeque Ribs. The quality and
consistency have to be right and customer service will always come
first.
We have gone the extra mile, baking our own cakes and pies, making
our food fresh daily, smoking and slow cooking our ribs, and
perfecting our sauces and spices. It’s a bit more work to do it this
way, but we believe the results are well worth it. We want Lady
Louisa’s Place to be a “neighborhood” kind of place. We believe the
people of Detroit and surrounding areas will view Lady Louisa’s
